Accessibility Statement

We want Redwood Kitchens’ website and information to be clear, understandable and usable by the widest practical audience.

Our approach

We aim to use clear language, logical heading structures, readable text, appropriate colour contrast, keyboard-accessible navigation and descriptive alternative text for meaningful images. We also aim to make pages work across current browsers, screen sizes and commonly used assistive technologies.

As the website develops, we aim to use the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, currently WCAG 2.2 Level AA, as a practical reference point. This is an improvement objective and should not be read as a claim that every page or third-party component has been independently certified as fully conformant.

Known limitations

Some supplier-produced brochures, older photographs, historic content and third-party services may not provide the same level of accessibility as pages created directly by Redwood Kitchens. Online brochures and external social-media or video services are controlled by their respective providers.

We are reviewing image descriptions, form labelling, keyboard use, heading order, colour contrast and responsive layouts as part of the website’s launch and continuing development. Specific limitations identified through that review will be recorded here where they materially affect access.

Alternative formats and reasonable adjustments

If you cannot access information on this website, please contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the relevant information in another practical format or to communicate with you in a way that reduces the barrier you have encountered.

Reporting an accessibility problem

Please tell us if a page, form, document or feature is difficult to use. It is helpful to include the page concerned, what happened, the device or browser being used and the assistance or format that would help.

Testing and review

This statement has been prepared during the development of the replacement Redwood Kitchens website. The site will be checked on desktop, tablet and mobile devices and reviewed using a combination of automated checks and practical keyboard and content review. The statement will be updated when material limitations, improvements or new third-party services are identified.
